Violent Leftists Attack Jindal Aide--Where Is the Mainstream Media?

For the last two weeks, the Leftist Lap Dogs in the Mainstream Media have bellowed constantly about the dangerous undercurrents of the Tea Party protests and other "anti-government" movements. So far, the only violence committed was by Leftist protesters against an aide of Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal along with her boyfriend.

Where is the Mainstream Media? Every little old lady and nuclear family that believes in limited government is a Timothy McVeigh in training, but a vicious attack on an aide to the conservative Louisiana governor is ignored.

Allee Bautsch, 25, a top fundraiser for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and her boyfriend, Joe Brown, 29, were verbally assailed as they left the event, followed to their car then savagely beaten.

Bautsch’s leg was “stomped” by her assailants causing breaks in four places that required surgery, a steel rod and seven screws to reconstruct. Brown suffered a broken jaw and nose, a brain concussion and black eye.

The assailants were described as five Caucasian males, the main assailant looking “dirty” (but not homeless), with dark red ponytail and a beard.

Patriotic Americans protesting excessive government are labeled dangerous. Beating two people to the point they have to be hospitalized is a non-story. Here's the latest on the developing story from Human Events.

The Mainstream Media is complicit in the attack on Allee Bautsch and Joe Brown and they will be partly liable for any violence that is committed against Tea Party Patriots or any other Conservative. The Lap Dog Media blames Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Sean Hannity and others for "potential violence." However, these people go out of their way to DISCOURAGE such behavior while encouraging citizen activism. That stands in stark contrast to semi-human agitators like Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, and Ed Schultz who reguarly advocate violent acts being committed against Conservatives. They are never asked to apologize and are never accused of inciting violence. If the Mainstream Media continues to smear regular Americans as dangerous while giving a wink and a nod to brutal behavior by Leftists, it is THEY who are the domestic terrorists attempting to subvert civil society.

Indiana Congressman Mike Pence defines the stakes in the fight against the Democrats' attempt at a hostile takeover of the American health care industry.



Folks, it ain't over. The fat lady ain't even warming up, but the Statist/Marxist/Progressive Democrats have moved an inch closer to the totalitarianism that their leadership desires. The passage of the Pelosi version of ObamaCare should wake up Americans to this violent attack on individual liberty.

Now, two things must happen. First, intensify the fight against ObamaCare in the Senate. There are already nervous Democrats in the Senate and it is highly unlikely Harry Reid can muster 60 votes to prevent a filibuster. Can 10 Democrats be convinced to uphold their oath of office? Maybe. However, forcing Harry Reid to employ procedural shenanigans to pass this monstrosity will add to the pressure on Dems in 2010. Call your Senators. Email your Senators. Even if the Senate version passes, it is different than the House bill. A conference bill will still have to be put together, meaning that House members will have to cast another vote. That means Real American has more time to makes its voices heard.

Secondly, keep an eye on November, 2010. Democrats who voted to strip American citizens of individual liberty in health care matters and who risk destroying jobs and economic growth in order to carry out a Marxist ideology must pay a price at the ballot box. The Leftist health care and cap-and-trade bills are attacks on the Constitution and the American people. The perps must pay with the loss of their jobs.

This is no time to rest in Real America. The fight is only beginning. Our future and our children's futures depend on our willingness to fight the traitors and tyrants in our midst.

Gallup Poll: Conservatives Maintain Edge as Top Ideological Group

Late last week, Big Media was practically wetting itself over a survey that showed Republican party identification is at its lowest point in decades. As usual, Big Media's analysis did not demonstrate a true understanding of what the numbers meant. A recent Gallup Poll frames the nation's political temperature more clearly.

Conservatives continue to outnumber moderates and liberals in the American populace in 2009, confirming a finding that Gallup first noted in June. Forty percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36% as moderate, and 20% as liberal. This marks a shift from 2005 through 2008, when moderates were tied with conservatives as the most prevalent group.

Big Media may see this as contradictory, but the two sets of numbers make perfect sense. One uncomfortable and inconvenient truth that Big Media has tried to ignore during the Tea Party uprisings and Town Hall discussions was that the increasingly vocal Patriots are rooted in ideas, not party politics. During the September 12 March on Washington, I saw thousands upon thousands of signs, bumper stickers and t-shirts, but only one that was overtly GOP. That was one guy who was working the street trying to sign folks up for the Republican Party. Real America is disgusted with corrupt politicians, Constitutional infidelity and partisan hacks who have zero respect for the American people (for example, the kind of people who keep changing the name of nationalized healthcare to various euphemisms in hopes of finding one that sounds respectable).

Conservatism is on the ascent. Many Republicans realize they have lose their way, but many have not. Some want to play the same political games as they have played in the past. Some want to give half-measures of socialist programs to appear "bipartisan." A few haven't been paying attention since last election day and still want to hitch their wagon to the O-Train.

We The People have risen up and are in the process of re-establishing the GOP as the Conservative party. In recent years, I have found I am more likely to call myself an independent than a Republican because of the party's recent sorry state. Many others have abandoned the label for similar reasons. So, when GOP identification falls it doesn't mean Americans are less Conservative. To the contrary, it means there is a growing group of folks who demand that the Republican Party stand on principle and fight to defend the Constitution and individual liberty. According to Gallup, there's a change in the air.

The 9-12 March Was Not A GOP Lovefest

In the week following the 9-12 march on Washington, D.C., Big Media and frightened Leftists have tried to marginalize the outpouring of genuine patriotic concern as being a partisan, corporate-driven event. After spending over six hours in D.C. that day and covering a lot of ground, I did not see even one sign that was overtly pro-Republican. However, I did see quite a few that made it clear that Real America is just as unhappy with Republicans who have fostered the growth of the federal leviathan. This sign is a great example:

Leftists and Big Media are currently working overtime to develop the notion that the 9-12 March was all about President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama's race. They choose to ignore that Conservatives have been frustrated with big government Republicans for years. When the GOP held the White House and Congress, they grew government. There were some attempts to reform and reduce segments of the federal government, but the party cowered at the sophomoric Democrat defenses. The party paid a heavy price in 2006 and 2008. Many Conservatives voted third party or stayed home. Independents and moderate Democrats who had helped put the Republicans in power decided to give the Democrats a shot. The GOP must take much of the blame for our current state because they first drifted from principle and that drift then gave an ever more radical Democrat party control of the keys of government.

The people who have protested at local Tea Parties, become citizen activists, spoke out at town hall meetings and converged in front of the Kremlin on the Potomac are not uninformed dupes (unlike those who get their "truth" from Katie, Brian, and Charlie). These are not brain-dead cheerleaders. They have a fundamental understanding of freedom and liberty. They know both parties have contributed to our precarious state. They know that "We The People" must hold all their feet to the fire if we are to return our country to the values and ideals that made it great.

Tea Party Patriots are not blindly-loyal Republicans. However, I think most understand that the Democrat Party is now a radical Leftist party that has no grounding in American values. The Republican Party has some connection to conservatism and a general respect for the Constitution. Most realize that "taking back America" first means taking back the Republican Party.

The frustration with the GOP's willingness to acquiesce to Leftist Democrats and make deals has many Conservatives ready to pursue third parties. I think most are realistic enough to know that a third party move will only help the Leftists, but the dissatisfaction with both major parties is real and growing. Tea Party Patriots will not support liberal Republicans. Keep an eye on Florida where Governor Charlie Crist assumed his nomination for the U.S. Senate to be a coronation, but is being thumped by Marco Rubio among the GOP base. Crist is a phony Republican in the Arlen Specter tradition. He is the candidate for Republican insiders who, again, are why we watching President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Majority Leader Reid shove a Marxist agenda down America's throat.

Around the country, Real America is fighting back hard against the Left's intrusions and usurpations. But, remember, a Republican is not automatically a big improvement over a Democrat. Grass roots activists and Real Americans must remind the GOP of its Conservative base and that compromises with tyranny still march us in that direction. Bipartisanship is not a goal to cherish. Principled partisanship is the only hope for restoring the free market and individual liberty as America's bedrocks.

I'm still on a high from being a part of Real America's march on Washington, D.C. It was an incredible feeling reading the signs, listening to the speeches and just watching the individuals, families and groups interacting in the spirit of American liberty. I hope you enjoy these images of 9-12.

Washington, D.C. Sees The Biggest Tea Party Yet!

How many Real Americans crowded into Washington, D.C on Saturday, September 12? You have some media outlets reporting the turnout as thousands while other estimates have been as high as 1.5-2 million. My wife and I arrived after the march was already underway and we folded into the crowd working its way up Pennsylvania Avenue. I have been at sporting events with crowds that approached 100,000 and I can guarantee you the 9-12 protest was far bigger. Honestly, I don't have a concept of 1.5 million people in one place. However, I would estimate that Saturday's crowd was no less than 500,000.

Over the next several days, I will be posting some pictures of the event. The whole day was surreal. The frustration many of us feel when we see so many folks who have either swallowed the Leftist Kool-aid or who are blithefully ignorant of everything happening around them turned to euphoria while marching with and milling around among hundreds of thousands of like-minded Patriots. The mix of people was incredible. From old to young. Men and women (actually, I think I saw more women). The number of ethnic minorities would have shocked Big Media if they had paid attention.

My wife and I rode in on the Metro from northern Virginia with a couple from California. They were concerned that their state is rapidly becoming the People's Republik of Kalifornia. These folks were in an agricultural business and had been hit hard by the combination of oppressive regulations from both the state and federal governments. They had to be in D.C. for this event.

The multitude of signs we observed ran the gamut of political ideas. One thing I did not see all day was a sign that specifically hyped the Republican Party. These are people who are fed up with abusive government and do not care if the offenders are Democrats or Republicans. The overarching theme was limited government and individual liberty. The consensus from the overwhelming throng was "enough!"

Whatever the official attendance turns out to be, the numbers demonstrate the power of the New Media and the growing irrelevancy of Big Media (i.e., the mainstream media or dinosaur media). The major networks, most cable news channels, and major newspapers ignored the approach of the 9-12 event. What mentions did happen, made it appear to be no different than a small town Tea Party. Real Americans are seeking others who share their passion for liberty and through local Tea Parties, the conservative blogosphere, and talk radio word spread about the event. Even on talk radio (and I haven't listened as much in the last month since school started back), I didn't hear a tremendous amount of coverage about the march. I think everyone was shocked by the turnout.

The September 12 protest was not an end, but another notch on the timeline that has Real Americans working to march the country toward the tried and true principles on which this nation was founded. Some states have legislative elections this November (including Virginia which has an important governor's race). Congress and President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama still hope to ram nationalized health care and cap-and-tax legislation down America;s throat before the year is out. In many states, primary races are already underway for 2010 House and Senate races. It is vital that we stay engaged. Regular folks are exhibiting an extraordinary desire for liberty can take this country back from the many decades of government encroachment. We will be victorious!

Why Is There A 9/12 Tea Party March on Washington?

Why are patriotic Americans of all races, all parties, all religions, and all regions of the country coming to Washington, D.C. to march on Saturday, September 12? Here is a small hint:



No, this march isn't about John Conyers. He is simply an incompetent old clown, but his idiotic comments about congressmen reading bills symbolize the myriad problems infecting the federal government. Here is a group of people who wield immense power, most of which is illegitimate. Yet, they laugh in the faces of the American people over the notion that they should actually know what is in the bills they pass. No lawyer should be necessary to understand legislation that will impact all Americans (Conyers has a J.D. degree, but I'm guessing he didn't finish near the top of his class). If a congressman lacks the competence to do his job, he should be dishing up snow cones at the carnival.

This arrogance and abusive attitude is "business as usual" inside the Beltway. One thing that has struck me in the Tea Party protests I have attended is the variety of complaints people bring to the events. Some are upset about excessive taxation. Some are concerned about the growth of federal regulation and control. Some are worried about government takeovers of industries, especially the threats being made toward the health care industry. Some focus on the on-going assault on the family and America's social fabric. Many see through Statist calls for "energy independence" as the anti-energy, anti-freedom, anti-progress non-sense that they really are.

It would also be surprising to Big Media and Leftist Democrats who demonize and ridicule Tea Party protesters that these "angry mobs" aren't much happier with Republicans than they are with Democrats. Whereas Democrats used GOP excesses in spending and government growth to obtain the keys to spend even more, grow even more, and tax much more, these proud Patriots put America first and do not care if the violators are Democrats or Republicans. In some ways, I think protesters are angrier with the GOP because it was their incompetence and rejection of principle that facilitated the Democrat comeback in 2006 and 2008. We know the Democrat party has lurched hopelessly to the Left, but we expect more from Republicans.

This Saturday, September 12, Real America will descend on the one city with more phonies than Hollywood. These folks will be there not because of things they hate, but because of the things they love. They fundamentally understand that the liberty many Americans hold dear is in grave danger. There will be a Fair Tax contingent, a Citizens Against Government Waste faction, and folks chanting "drill here, drill now, pay less." All of the individual issues of concern to Real America come back to a love of individual liberty. The United States does not suffer from a lack of government. It does increasingly suffer from a loss of freedom. The people are finally saying, "we want out lives back." See you at Freedom Plaza on Saturday.

Attention Real America: Support The Whole Foods Buycott on September 1 and Beyond

Gateway Pundit reports that patriotic activists in the St. Louis area are sponsoring a "buycott" of their local Whole Foods grocery store on Tuesday, September 1. St. Louis area blogger Dana Lesch further reports that a Dallas buycott will also take place on September 1.

What is a buycott? Simply buy your groceries at Whole Foods to demonstrate support. Several weeks ago, Whole Foods CEO John Mackey wrote an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal that caused Leftwing Statists to call for a boycott of his chain. Since then, the call has gone out for Patriots to shop at Whole Foods to show support for a CEO who has ideas for creative, free market solutions to improve America's health care system.

Now, the National Tea Party Coalition has created a separate web site to promote Whole Foods Buycotts across the country. They encourage others to set up Whole Foods Buycotts. Hopefully, the month of September will be great for the company and a kick in the nether regions for the Leftist hordes who hoped to damage John Mackey because he supports individual liberty.

Unfortunately, there is no Whole Foods in my neck of the woods. I think the closest are two hours east and two hours south. If you are also out of range for a Whole Foods Buycott event, you can order a gift card and send it to a friend who lives in a Whole Foods city. That suggestion comes from the St. Louis Tea Party. Let's support this brave CEO and his company against the Leftist attack machine.

Rasmussen Reports: 57% of Americans Would Replace Entire Congress

For years, I have joked that randomly selecting one person from the telephone books of each Congressional district would yield a better and more responsible Congress than the one that features the winners of the Democrat and Republican fraternity and sorority war. Today, a Rasmussen Report provided proof that I may not be alone.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote.

Overall, these numbers are little changed since last October. When Congress was passing the unpopular $700-billion bailout plan in the heat of a presidential campaign and a seeming financial industry meltdown, 59% wanted to throw them all out. At that time, just 17% wanted to keep them.

The partisan breakdown of this poll question is particularly interesting:

There has been a bit of a partisan shift since last fall. With Democrats controlling both chambers of Congress, it's not surprising to find that the number of Democrats who would vote to keep the entire Congress has grown from 25% last fall to 43% today. In fact, a modest plurality of Democrats would now vote to keep the legislators. Last fall, a plurality of Democrats were ready to throw them all out.

While Democrats have become more supportive of the legislators, voters not affiliated with either major party have moved in the opposite direction. Today, 70% of those not affiliated with either major party would vote to replace all of the elected politicians in the House and Senate. That’s up from 62% last year.

Republicans, not surprisingly, overwhelmingly support replacing everyone in the Congress. Their views have not changed. But Republican voters are disenchanted with their team as much as the Congress itself: 69% of GOP Voters say Republicans in Congress are out of touch with
the party base.

The sudden increase in Democrat support for Congress is a bit curious. Last year, the Democrats held the majority, but still only 25% were willing to keep Congress in place as it was. This is likely the result of two years in which the majority party pretended to be in the majority. Democrat leaders spoke like a helpless minority under the thump of the evil Dubya. Big Media covered legislative action in Washington as though President Bush was pulling all the strings. If one landed in America from another planet last fall and watched the campaigns, they would have wrongly believed that Republicans were in the majority during 2007-2008.

It is also interesting that independents are running from Congress in large numbers. These are the folks who helped put President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama in the Oval Office. They are the folks who misconstrued what The One meant when he chattered on about "hope" and "change."

And Republicans? They are just as irritated with Congress as ever. Unlike Democrats whose view of big, intrusive government largely rests on which party is running the show, Conservative Republicans felt betrayed by GOP legislators who abandoned principle. Big Government is oppressive regardless of which party is in charge. The untold story of the Tea Party movement and Real America's patriotic awakening is that these rallies are not about Republicans vs. Democrats; the fight is liberty vs. fascism.

During the organizational meeting for the Roanoke Tea Party group on August 15, Roanoke couple Jenice and Pete Pearl performed a very inspirational original song for the Patriots in attendance. Town Halls Turn Ugly For Members of Congress; Get Ready For the Recess Rally!

This should put Big Media into a tizzy. On August 22, Patriots across the country will rally outside the district offices of every member of Congress. The Recess Rally is another chance for Real America to stand up to the imperial federal government and say "NO!" Big Media hates Real America and you can bet they will run every possible negative story about the opposition to nationalized health care.

Various members of Congress have already gotten smacked around by their constituents in their own townhall meetings. Texas Congressman Lloyd Doggett referred to angry protesters as a "mob." This arrogant clown seems to believe that no one should object to the federal government usurping power from individuals. The Liberal-Leftist-Progressive-Socialist-Democrats employ their own version of Newspeak. Despite the protests, Doggett said, "I am more committed than ever to win approval of legislation to offer more individual choice to access affordable health care." Choice? This bill accomplishes the opposite of "individual choice." It is designed to take away all choice and turn them over to the government. Look, I don't know if Doggett is a liar or an idiot or both, but he and his gang of thieves in the House are looking to subjugate the American people.

Other Congressmen who have heard the will of the people include Russ Carnahan, Keith Ellison, Claire McCaskill, Kathleen Sebelius and Arlen Specter. The videos of these outbursts of patriotic citizenship should steel us all in our resolve to fight to maintain a free health care industry.

Big Media is apoplectic that Real America actually has the temerity to challenge their status as subjects of the United Socialist States of America. They are shocked at the tone and animosity. Get used to it! The U.S. Constitution is a very simple and clear document. This nation was built by hard-working individuals who wanted nothing from the government except protection from foreign invasion. Across America, over 80% of people are happy with their own healthcare and their own insurance. But, they are being told that they must sacrifice their personal security so that the government can control everyone's life.

The government should fear the people, not the other way around. The government works for us, not the other way around. They have limited powers, not limitless powers. When these jackholes exceed their charge and attempt to enslave the incomes and well-being of the citizens, they should fear the outcome. None of these people have a right to their seat in Congress. If they continue to ignore the Constitution and rule at their personal whim, it is the DUTY of the people to throw their sorry carcasses out on the street. Right now, Real America is striking back on issues like cap-and-tax, nationalized health care and judges who believe they are independent of the Constitution. Soon, the next big fight will begin to take shape: the November 2010 mid-term elections. Be afraid Congress, be very afraid.

Roanoke Independence Day Tea Party--Be Heard (Or At Least Seen)

Check the Roanoke Tea Party site for the latest on Saturday's rally in Elmwood Park in Roanoke, Virginia. Constituents of the 5th and 9th district should especially show their displeasure with Representatives Tom Perriello and Rick Boucher for selling out their futures to Leftwing special interests in the Waxman-Markey Cap-and-Trade bill. If it does pass the Senate, Cap-and-Trade will have to again go through the House as a conference bill. Let Perriello and Boucher know they need to reconsider supporting the biggest tax increase in American history.
