Whoopi Goldberg: Champion of Child Rapist

Whoopi Goldberg needs never to present herself as a champion of women or children after her sickening defense of rapist Roman Polanski. The then-44 year-old director did not commit "rape-rape" when he drugged a 13 year-old and forced her to have sex with him? Unbelievable. Her strange and incoherent defense of Roman Polanski on the strange and incoherent gab-fest "The View" elevated Whoopi to a new level of lunacy.

Of course, Whoopi isn't the only Holly-weirdo to defend this subhuman.

More than 100 film industry figures have now signed a petition calling for the release of Polanski, the acclaimed director of Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby and The Pianist.

They include leading Hollywood figures Martin Scorcese, Woody Allen, David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodovar, Tilda Swinton and Monica Bellucci.

One celebrity supporter, the actress Debra Winger, said it was a "three-decades-old case that is dead but for minor technicalities. We stand by him and await his release and his next masterpiece." Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein said Polanski was a "humanist" who had been the victim of a "miscarriage of justice". He said: "We will have to speak to our leaders, particularly in California. I'm not too shy to go and talk to the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and to ask him once and for all to look at this." However, the views of the Hollywood elite seemed out of step with those of ordinary Americans and they now face a backlash.

You see, in the world of Woody Allen, Martin Scorcese, Debra Winger and Harvey Weinstein it is OK for a 44 year-old man to rape a 13 year-old girl as long as he is a "brilliant artist." Now, if he were a priest or a construction worker or a banker it would be a disgusting criminal act. But, award-winning directors should be allowed to violate children at will.

It is bad enough that the half-wits in the entertainment industry do not see the irony in spending $200,000 for a dress for an awards ceremony while bashing small business people who work 80 hours a week and make personal sacrifices in the hope of earning $200,000 in a year as greedy capitalists who should be taxed at confiscatory rates. They believe that regular folks should ride bicycles or drive motorized tuna cans while they tool around in private jets and tricked-out Hummers. Now, we are finding a group of these lowlifes who defend child rape as being no big deal when the violator is a "well-respected" film "genius." Disgraceful.

Conservative Blogger Overload

A combination of work, a grad class and "life stuff" has had me on the blog sidelines for several days. Normally, I try to post something every day, but with the limited time I have had to really ponder the world stage for the last week my brain has been deluged with so many topics that I could not focus myself. For instance:

  • A string of dictators and demogogues speak in front of the United Nations--Khaddafi, Ahmadinejad, Obama.
  • Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez sing the praises of President Barry Vladimir Soetero Hussein Obama
  • Obama suggests nuclear disarmament to the delight of the world's thugs and reprobates.
  • Prime Minister Netanyahu gives the kind of courageous speech that an American President SHOULD be able to give.
  • Iran announces a second nuclear facility...and it appears the Obama administration had known about it before he offered an olive branch to the Iranian squirrel turd.
  • Iran conducts missile tests.
  • North Korea conducts missile tests.
  • France scolds the U.S. for Obama's weak diplomacy (yes, THOSE French, and they are right!)
  • Max Baucus and the Senate Dems keep trying to come up with the right language to make nationalized healthcare not sound like nationalized healthcare.
  • The Senate tries to draft a cap-and-tax bill that does not sound like a cap-and-tax bill.
  • Obama's "School Safety Czar" is reported to have abetted a teenage boy's affair with a much older man.
  • Bill Clinton accuses Obama protesters of racism.
  • Poland and the Czech Republic let it be known they feel Obama has stabbed them in the back (Barack is evidently Kenyan for Neville).
  • House Dems openly lobby for nationalized health care for illegal aliens.
  • Mike Vick returns to the NFL and no animals were hurt in the production.
  • It is learned President Obama hasn't talked to the American general in Afghanistan since the Spring.
  • Obama blows off the Iranian nuclear crisis to lobby for the 2016 Olympics to come to Chicago--marking the first time Barack Obama has spoken favorably about the United States of America.
  • The Obama's take separate luxury private jets to Copenhagen leaving a carbon footprint equal to a decade's worth of cow flatulence in India.
  • The Democrats plan to create 63 new federal judgships in a court packing scheme that would shock John Adams and Franklin Roosevelt.
  • And, last but not least, the Washington Redskins lost to the hapless Detroit Lions which means the Redskins are uber-hapless.

It seemed like I would decide to write about one shocking event and another would pop up. This last week has been like "We Didn't Start The Fire" on warp speed. Now that I cleared my brain of the clutter, maybe I can focus on something specific.

Elementary School Children Sing Praises To Obama--Frightening!

Indoctrination of the youth has always been a key tactic of statist regimes. Shaping the minds of a new generation is one of the surest ways to eliminate the thoughts and principles that previously guided a society. Now, a New Jersey elementary school brings us a teacher indoctrinating children through hymns of praise to Dear Leader, Barack Obama.

That isn't education. There is no excuse for such blatant indoctrination in a public school classroom. If this nitwit teacher wants to chant "yes we can" while she waves her "hope" and "change" signs, more power to her. However, she has absolutely no right to use the bully pulpit of the classroom to have children singing hymns to the Barack Obama.

In showing America what we were up against in World War II, Hollywood director Frank Capra produced the "Why We Fight" series. Check out the segment below for a look at schoolhouse indoctrination (the hymns for Hitler starts at about 7:40 of the video).

Ahmadinejad and Obama Share Similar Views of Israel

The United States joined several other countries in walking out during Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's rambling diatribe in front of the United Nations of Thugs and Dictators General Assembly. That was a good move. However, the U.S. delegation should have walked out on an earlier speaker who also misrepresented the nature of the Israeli state and who seems poised to overturn his country's long history of support for the Israeli people. Everyone knows Ahmadinejad is nuttier than a squirrel turd, but this other world leader is looked to as a symbol of hope for the future. Fox quotes the former community agitator:

"We continue to call on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel, and we continue to emphasize that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements," he said.

Obama said four issues separate the two sides: security, borders, refugees and Jerusalem, but the goal is clear: a secure, Jewish state for Israel and "a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967."

The 44th President of the United States, Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama, gave one of his patented fear-mongering speeches. The U.S. has been a force for ill. The world is about to explode from the heat (despite 10 years of temperature decreases). We should get rid of all nuclear weapons. We must play footsy with dictators. This was typical Obama. Everything is a crisis and the United States is the root of all evil. However, in front of a roomful of the world's sleaziest rogues and miscreants, Obama attacked our ally, Israel. The President's use of the word "occupation" to describe Israel's possession of territory they acquired when THEY were attacked would be laughable if it did not signal such a dangerous turn in U.S. foreign policy. There is no moral equivalence between a peaceful democracy that has been forced to defend itself from brutish neighbors who seek to eliminate its existence.

But, for this President principle is never an impediment to his desire to be the most popular guy in the room. This was seen in his campaign last year. Obama will tell any room what its occupants want to hear. Bashing the United States and Israel sends one to the head of the class in the United Nations of Thugs and Dictators.

If the Arab world cared so much about the so-called Palestinians they would have provided a home for them long ago. Israel is a dot in the Middle East, but this faux ethnic group ("Palestinians") must be given a state carved out of Israeli territory. Israel has given and given in past peace talks. What have they received in return? Murder, mayhem, and now treachery from a trusted friend.

In the last week, Osama bin Laden released a statement in which he endorsed the anti-Semitic book on Arab-Israeli relations by America's worst ex-President Jimmy Carter. Leftist foreign policy hack Zbigniew Brzezinski called for the U.S. to shoot down Israeli planes if they attempt to take out Iran's nuclear capabilities. Libyan lunatic Moammar Khadaffy referred to Obama as "his son." Despite all the blustering from Ahmadinejad in Iran, Obama gave his endorsement to the crooked election results that kept the madman in power. It is clear that America's Leftwing is anti-Israel and desirous of leading the Jewish state into a suicide pact that will threaten its very existence.

The United States must not waver in supporting the one legitimate democracy in the Middle East. Our President seems willing to chuck Israel to the wolves. From his anti-Israel stance to his support of the would-be dictator in Honduras and his on-going lovefest with Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega and Fidel Castro, we have never had an American President whose fidelity to freedom and liberty is so questionable. His desire to be admired by the world's biggest cretins is much stronger than his love of his own country. It should come as no surprise that he is out to overturn institutions of long-standing in the United States as he belittles us abroad and consorts with anti-Americans and anti-capitalists. Today's speech needs to be kept on speed dial for 2012 so we can remind ourselves what this man thinks of the United States and its allies.

Can John Stossel Save American Journalism?

Recently, ABC investigative reporter John Stossel announced that he is heading to Fox News in October. Stossel is a rarity in mainstream journalism today: he is a true investigator. Whereas most reporters are Leftists who use the airwaves or newsprint, Stossel is a reporter who is grounded in American principles and willing to expose corruption and dishonesty wherever he finds it. He is an unabashed Libertarian whose world view is shaped by a belief in maximized liberty for all people.

In fact, Stossel will probably anger some who are more Republican than Conservative when he brings his brand of investigative reporting to Fox. He is not concerned with stepping on toes. Stossel is a journalist, but his principle-based reporting can play a positive role for Conservatives by reminding them of their core beliefs when their political leaders veer off course.

Stossel followed up his original announcement on today with a column that focused on the disintegration of legitimate reporting in the mainstream media.

When I announced last week that I was leaving ABC for Fox, some readers complained about my "bias." I replied: "Every reporter has political beliefs. The difference is that I am upfront about mine."

Look at today's burning issue: President Obama's pledge to redesign 15 percent of the economy. Virtually every reporter calls his health care plan "reform." But dictionaries define reform as "improvement." So before they present any evidence, reporters pronounce Obama's plan an improvement. Isn't that bias?

The New York Times took its bias to an absurd length. Its page-one story on the big anti-big-government rally in Washington, D.C., referred to "protests that began with an opposition to health care. ..."

Apparently, in the Times reporter's and editors' view, opponents of the Obama health care plan oppose health care itself. (The online article was later changed.

Economic-policy reporters usually present the views of supporters of new regulations as objective and public-spirited. For a contrary view, at best they'll ask a Republican or a representative of the regulated business, who is portrayed as self-serving. (Republicans tend to offer a watered-down version of the Democrats' proposals.)

A recent Bloomberg report on President Obama's plans to rewrite financial regulations is typical: "Obama has proposed new regulations overseeing the systemic risk posed by large financial institutions." The reporter quoted White House economic adviser Lawrence Summers in support of the plan. Although there are plenty of reasons to doubt that regulators are competent at judging systemic risk, no skeptical economist was quoted. Readers are led to believe the program is perfectly feasible.

Most reporting on the "stimulus" package has the same flaw. Just to call it "stimulus" is to editorialize, since the idea that government spending can truly stimulate an economy is at best doubtful. Many good economists say it can't be done. After all, the money is taken from somewhere else. But the economists rarely are quoted.

You can read the rest of Stossel's latest column here.

I'm looking forward to John Stossel's new career on Fox. While I sometimes find the typical Libertarian's view on foreign policy unsatisfactory for a dangerous 21st century world, their domestic agenda is much closer to the Founders' vision than the GOP and light years closer than the Democrats. Fox is a good home for a true Patriot like Stossel.

Support Government-Run Health Care Or You Will Be Punished!

At the behest of the loneliest guy in Washington, Democrat Senator Max Baucus, the Department of Health and Human Services is ordering an investigation of insurance provider Humana. Humana informed its customers that the so-called health reform bills floating around the Kremlin on the Potomac could have a negative impact on Medicare services down the road. The Baucus plan cuts Medicare by $500 billion dollars over the next decade. Gee, how could anyone possibly conclude a $500 billion cut will have a negative impact?

Baucus' temper tantrum is truly chilling.

The Senate committee that Baucus chairs — Finance — will vote this week on a sweeping health care plan that he's proposed to expand coverage and try to control costs. It would cut Medicare and Medicaid spending by about $500 billion over 10 years, but Baucus says that would lead to greater efficiency, not reduced benefits.

"The health care reform bill we released ... strengthens Medicare and does not cut benefits," said Baucus. "From lower prescription drug costs, to free preventive care, to better treatment for chronic conditions, seniors have so much to gain from health reform — and I'm not going to let insurance company profits stand in the way of improving Medicare for seniors."

Dem-speak is a magical language. Abortion becomes reproductive health services. Illegal aliens are not really illegal aliens if we can pass a bill to make them legal. The government forcing people to pay for a service is not a tax. A $500 billion cut is an increase in services. Orwell would be proud.

The political double-talk is not surprising. However, the heavy-handed manner in which Democrats have attacked all dissent in recent months is somewhat alarming. Remember President Obama's for reporting those who actually read the health care bills and reported what they read? Or the President using the bully pulpit of a speech in front of a joint session of Congress to accuse those who dispute his numbers, assertions, and wisdom of dishonesty and telling the country he will not put up with it? Now, an insurance company is under federal investigation for informing its customers that Beltway Democrats are cooking up a plan that will have a negative impact on them.

It may be time to finally retire the unfair term "McCarthyism" and replace it with a more apt term for intolerance of political dissent: "Obamaism." It is increasingly clear that this White House and the Democrat leadership believe an election win trumps the Constitution. Humana has every right to advocate for the health care reforms that they believe will be most appropriate. They are under no obligation to accept this administration's fairy tale machinations.

Health care in America could use some common sense, free market reforms, but is hardly in a crisis. However, every day that passes brings another piece of evidence that freedom of speech is in grave danger in 21st century America.

The 9-12 March Was Not A GOP Lovefest

In the week following the 9-12 march on Washington, D.C., Big Media and frightened Leftists have tried to marginalize the outpouring of genuine patriotic concern as being a partisan, corporate-driven event. After spending over six hours in D.C. that day and covering a lot of ground, I did not see even one sign that was overtly pro-Republican. However, I did see quite a few that made it clear that Real America is just as unhappy with Republicans who have fostered the growth of the federal leviathan. This sign is a great example:

Leftists and Big Media are currently working overtime to develop the notion that the 9-12 March was all about President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama's race. They choose to ignore that Conservatives have been frustrated with big government Republicans for years. When the GOP held the White House and Congress, they grew government. There were some attempts to reform and reduce segments of the federal government, but the party cowered at the sophomoric Democrat defenses. The party paid a heavy price in 2006 and 2008. Many Conservatives voted third party or stayed home. Independents and moderate Democrats who had helped put the Republicans in power decided to give the Democrats a shot. The GOP must take much of the blame for our current state because they first drifted from principle and that drift then gave an ever more radical Democrat party control of the keys of government.

The people who have protested at local Tea Parties, become citizen activists, spoke out at town hall meetings and converged in front of the Kremlin on the Potomac are not uninformed dupes (unlike those who get their "truth" from Katie, Brian, and Charlie). These are not brain-dead cheerleaders. They have a fundamental understanding of freedom and liberty. They know both parties have contributed to our precarious state. They know that "We The People" must hold all their feet to the fire if we are to return our country to the values and ideals that made it great.

Tea Party Patriots are not blindly-loyal Republicans. However, I think most understand that the Democrat Party is now a radical Leftist party that has no grounding in American values. The Republican Party has some connection to conservatism and a general respect for the Constitution. Most realize that "taking back America" first means taking back the Republican Party.

The frustration with the GOP's willingness to acquiesce to Leftist Democrats and make deals has many Conservatives ready to pursue third parties. I think most are realistic enough to know that a third party move will only help the Leftists, but the dissatisfaction with both major parties is real and growing. Tea Party Patriots will not support liberal Republicans. Keep an eye on Florida where Governor Charlie Crist assumed his nomination for the U.S. Senate to be a coronation, but is being thumped by Marco Rubio among the GOP base. Crist is a phony Republican in the Arlen Specter tradition. He is the candidate for Republican insiders who, again, are why we watching President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Majority Leader Reid shove a Marxist agenda down America's throat.
Around the country, Real America is fighting back hard against the Left's intrusions and usurpations. But, remember, a Republican is not automatically a big improvement over a Democrat. Grass roots activists and Real Americans must remind the GOP of its Conservative base and that compromises with tyranny still march us in that direction. Bipartisanship is not a goal to cherish. Principled partisanship is the only hope for restoring the free market and individual liberty as America's bedrocks.

SWAC Girl Presents Creigh Deeds in "Is It A Tax Or Isn't it?"

Outstanding blogger SWAC Girl posts Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds tying himself in a knot trying to avoid admitting he will raise taxes if elected. This guy seemed the most reasonable of the three Democrat contenders last spring, but general election season is when it becomes apparent that "reasonable Democrat" is a relative term. He supports every far Left proposal that Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Kremlin on the Potomac creates.

I Would Pay To See Chris Matthews Debate Mark Levin

MSNBC's signature Leftist Chris Matthews seems to have a problem with the fact Conservatives are literate and actually buy books that inspire critical thought and expose that which Big Media chooses to ignore. News Busters reports on Matthews' complaints about the "right wing crap" on the best seller list. Sounds like sour grapes, as Leftist books normally do not approach best-seller status. Of course, much of their constituency is illiterate or more likely to watch "Entertainment Tonight" than read a book.

Rather than dismiss books by folks like Mark Levin, Bill O'Reilly, or Michelle Malkin as "crap," why doesn't Chrissy bring them on his low-rated cable access program and dismantle their assertions? Since he is obviously their intellectual superior, he should bring them on "Hardball" and embarrass them. It is time for Chris Matthews to assert his domination over these Conservative thinkers.

The solution is simple: Chris Matthews should invite Mark Levin to participate in a one-hour debate during "Hardball." This will allow Matthews an opportunity to refute Levin's ideas in "Liberty and Tyranny" (and maybe even "Men in Black," since I'm sure the intellectual giant Chrissy would make short work of Levin). In addition, for one night MSNBC might actually draw a respectable audience.

How about it, Chrissy Matthews? After you demonstrate the power of Leftist ideology in squashing Conservative principles, the "right wing crap" will hold less interest. Come on, Tiger! Go get 'em!

Cap-and-Trade To Cost Average Tax Payer Nearly $2,000

President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama has this habit of claiming that all of his magic bean projects will save humanity at no cost to the overwhelming majority of tax payers. Of course, that doesn't mean his cadre of advisers are not aware of reality. Declan McCullagh reported on the CBS blog that internal memos show that the cap-and-trade bill being debated in Congress will create a very significant tax increase on every American family.

A previously unreleased analysis prepared by the U.S. Department of Treasury says the total in new taxes would be between $100 billion to $200 billion a year. At the upper end of the administration's estimate, the cost per American household would be an extra $1,761 a year.

A second memorandum, which was prepared for Obama's transition team after the
November election, says this about climate change policies: "Economic costs will likely be on the order of 1 percent of GDP, making them equal in scale to all existing environmental regulation."

The documents (PDF) were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute and released on Tuesday.

So, the White House's numbers project nearly $1,800 a year in new taxes for each household. Given that government estimates are never even close to accurate, this has to scare anyone who isn't a extreme environmental wacko.

John Podesta and the Extreme Left Center for American Progress got their collective panties in a wad over the story. Declan McCullagh followed up his original story on the CBS blog.

Cap-and-Trade barely passed the House and will have big trouble getting through the Senate. Public outcry after the House vote makes it unlikely a conference bill can be successful. However, it is time to crank up the phone calls, letters, and emails once again. Cap-and-Trade is just another front of the Left's war on capitalism, prosperity and freedom.

Images of Real America's 9-12 Tea Party in Washington, D.C.

I'm still on a high from being a part of Real America's march on Washington, D.C. It was an incredible feeling reading the signs, listening to the speeches and just watching the individuals, families and groups interacting in the spirit of American liberty. I hope you enjoy these images of 9-12.

America's Worst President Speaks: Jimmy Carter, Race, and Political Deceit

The worst President in American history, Jimmuh Carter, has struck again. The Peach State's greatest embarrassment has blamed political opposition to President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama on racism. It would be easy to dismiss Carter's half-witted ramblings to his senility or his general incompetence (though Osama bid Laden think Carter is a great writer).

This is 2009 and racism still exists, but it is not mainstream and its proponents are on society's margins. Those who actually do care about civil rights should be at the front of the line condemning these Moonbats. The explosive term "racism" should be reserved for the real deal. It should not be used as a one-size-fits-all trump card to try to silence all political opposition. From a civil rights standpoint, the Democrat loons who constantly shout "racist" at their critics risk stripping the word of any real meaning.

As used by the political class, it is clear the use of the term "racism" is now a codeword for "I have lost the argument, so I will try to assassinate your character."

Washington, D.C. Sees The Biggest Tea Party Yet!

How many Real Americans crowded into Washington, D.C on Saturday, September 12? You have some media outlets reporting the turnout as thousands while other estimates have been as high as 1.5-2 million. My wife and I arrived after the march was already underway and we folded into the crowd working its way up Pennsylvania Avenue. I have been at sporting events with crowds that approached 100,000 and I can guarantee you the 9-12 protest was far bigger. Honestly, I don't have a concept of 1.5 million people in one place. However, I would estimate that Saturday's crowd was no less than 500,000.

Over the next several days, I will be posting some pictures of the event. The whole day was surreal. The frustration many of us feel when we see so many folks who have either swallowed the Leftist Kool-aid or who are blithefully ignorant of everything happening around them turned to euphoria while marching with and milling around among hundreds of thousands of like-minded Patriots. The mix of people was incredible. From old to young. Men and women (actually, I think I saw more women). The number of ethnic minorities would have shocked Big Media if they had paid attention.

My wife and I rode in on the Metro from northern Virginia with a couple from California. They were concerned that their state is rapidly becoming the People's Republik of Kalifornia. These folks were in an agricultural business and had been hit hard by the combination of oppressive regulations from both the state and federal governments. They had to be in D.C. for this event.

The multitude of signs we observed ran the gamut of political ideas. One thing I did not see all day was a sign that specifically hyped the Republican Party. These are people who are fed up with abusive government and do not care if the offenders are Democrats or Republicans. The overarching theme was limited government and individual liberty. The consensus from the overwhelming throng was "enough!"

Whatever the official attendance turns out to be, the numbers demonstrate the power of the New Media and the growing irrelevancy of Big Media (i.e., the mainstream media or dinosaur media). The major networks, most cable news channels, and major newspapers ignored the approach of the 9-12 event. What mentions did happen, made it appear to be no different than a small town Tea Party. Real Americans are seeking others who share their passion for liberty and through local Tea Parties, the conservative blogosphere, and talk radio word spread about the event. Even on talk radio (and I haven't listened as much in the last month since school started back), I didn't hear a tremendous amount of coverage about the march. I think everyone was shocked by the turnout.

The September 12 protest was not an end, but another notch on the timeline that has Real Americans working to march the country toward the tried and true principles on which this nation was founded. Some states have legislative elections this November (including Virginia which has an important governor's race). Congress and President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama still hope to ram nationalized health care and cap-and-tax legislation down America;s throat before the year is out. In many states, primary races are already underway for 2010 House and Senate races. It is vital that we stay engaged. Regular folks are exhibiting an extraordinary desire for liberty can take this country back from the many decades of government encroachment. We will be victorious!

Message to Joe Wilson: Do Not Apologize to Those Sewer Rats!

It seems Amerika's Den of Thieves (aka the House Democrats) are poised to try to force South Carolina congressman Joe Wilson to grovel at their feet after his accurate shout of "you lie" at President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama during his health care speech. They want to make an example out of Wilson for daring to challenge the honesty of Dear Leader in a public forum. After all, only Democrats can call a President a liar.

I think I can speak for Real America when I say: "Tell Nancy Pelosi, Bahney Fwank, Charlie "Tax Cheat" Rangel, and the rest of those cretinous villains to pound sand! You apologized to President Obama, which was appropriate. You don't owe these vermin jack squat."

Fellow South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn is demanding a formal apology. Oh really? This is the same sleazy ward boss who tosses around the word racist like a teenage girls says "like." Earlier this year, Clyburn accused those who opposed Obama's "stimulus" package of being "racists." Where is his apology?

If I had ten minutes to brainstorm, I could give you dozens of congressional Democrats who have accused political opponents of the most vile crimes and intents. Do they ever apologize? Not on your life.

At first, I agreed with those who believed Joe Wilson was right, but that the action was inappropriate. The Office of the Presidency belongs to all the people of the United States and we should respect the office even if the current occupant is an extreme Leftist thug. However, that respect cuts both ways. Obama accused his political opponents of lying time and time again during the speech. He used the bully pulpit of the U.S. Presidency to present a distorted and dishonest plan that will result in the government takeover of the American health care industry. If Wilson insulted the chief executive's office, so did the chief executive.

However, a conversation with a teaching colleague the next day totally cleared any thought that Wilson acted inappropriately. This teacher brought up the speech and the outburst and went on a diatribe about civility. I told him my belief that Wilson and Obama both behaved wrongly. This made him froth at the mouth. You see, Obama didn't actually use the word "liar" (of course, neither did Wilson). Obama's actions were OK because he said people spread lies, told tall tales, and broadcast misinformation. He didn't name any names. And, of course, Obama was right that all those "right wingers" are lying. Therefore, Obama was as pure as snow. There it was. The typical Leftist double-standard. This person only sees incivility in those who respect the rule of law and who want to preserve individual liberty. Those who wish to replace the Constitution and American values with socialism and Leftist ideologies can say whatever they damn well please.

Which brings me to now: "Tell Pelosi, Hoyer, Conyers, Clyburn and the rest to shut their pie holes. You'll apologize when Bahney Fwank completes an intelligible sentence. In other words, never."

See Big Lick Conspiracy in Roanoke on Saturday, September 12

A brief departure from the political wars:

If you live in southwest or central Virginia, you have to see the Big Lick Conspiracy Comedy Improv Troupe in action. They start their 2009-2010 season this Saturday night with an 8:00 show at the Jefferson Center in downtown Roanoke. My wife and I (and our son on a couple occasions) have caught several of their shows over the last two years and have thoroughly enjoyed every one.

These folks may not be performing under the bright lights of the big city, but they are a highly entertaining group of comedians. Improv is an incredibly difficult form of entertainment. Taking suggestions from the audience (some before the show and some during) and turning those disjointed ideas into rib-splitting humor is a rare skill. Save the $9 you would spend at the super-mega-gi-normous movie-plex and buy a ticket for the Big Lick Conspiracy. You will not be disappointed.

Joe Wilson Apologizes To Barack Obama; Will Obama Apologize To Republicans?

Since the end of Dear Leader's public regurgitation earlier this evening, Big Media has been apoplectic over South Carolina congressman Joe Wilson shouting "liar" when Obama claimed illegal aliens will not be covered under his health care takeover scheme. In fact, Wilson already called the White House and apologized for his actions. Wilson's moment may have violated some form of decorum, but when the most powerful individual in America spins a series of rehashed yarns that bear little resemblance to the truth, it is easy to understand the frustration of a patriotic American.

However, Wilson's outburst and later apology brings up another question: will President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama apologize to the Republican party and Real America? On numerous occasions during the droning speech, Obama accused Republicans and Conservatives across America of lying about the health care proposals in Congress. He, in fact, misrepresented their arguments time and again in his dishonest oration.

B. Hussein Obama bleats on about wanting bipartisanship and to work together, but the community agitator could not resist delivering the most partisan address I have ever seen from an American president. It was disgraceful and beneath the dignity of the office. Obama owes Real America an apology for refusing to honestly discuss their objections to his nationalized health care scheme and accusing them of dishonesty. Joe Wilson was man enough to apologize. Do you possess the same integrity, Comrade Obama?

Why Is There A 9/12 Tea Party March on Washington?

Why are patriotic Americans of all races, all parties, all religions, and all regions of the country coming to Washington, D.C. to march on Saturday, September 12? Here is a small hint:

No, this march isn't about John Conyers. He is simply an incompetent old clown, but his idiotic comments about congressmen reading bills symbolize the myriad problems infecting the federal government. Here is a group of people who wield immense power, most of which is illegitimate. Yet, they laugh in the faces of the American people over the notion that they should actually know what is in the bills they pass. No lawyer should be necessary to understand legislation that will impact all Americans (Conyers has a J.D. degree, but I'm guessing he didn't finish near the top of his class). If a congressman lacks the competence to do his job, he should be dishing up snow cones at the carnival.

This arrogance and abusive attitude is "business as usual" inside the Beltway. One thing that has struck me in the Tea Party protests I have attended is the variety of complaints people bring to the events. Some are upset about excessive taxation. Some are concerned about the growth of federal regulation and control. Some are worried about government takeovers of industries, especially the threats being made toward the health care industry. Some focus on the on-going assault on the family and America's social fabric. Many see through Statist calls for "energy independence" as the anti-energy, anti-freedom, anti-progress non-sense that they really are.

It would also be surprising to Big Media and Leftist Democrats who demonize and ridicule Tea Party protesters that these "angry mobs" aren't much happier with Republicans than they are with Democrats. Whereas Democrats used GOP excesses in spending and government growth to obtain the keys to spend even more, grow even more, and tax much more, these proud Patriots put America first and do not care if the violators are Democrats or Republicans. In some ways, I think protesters are angrier with the GOP because it was their incompetence and rejection of principle that facilitated the Democrat comeback in 2006 and 2008. We know the Democrat party has lurched hopelessly to the Left, but we expect more from Republicans.

This Saturday, September 12, Real America will descend on the one city with more phonies than Hollywood. These folks will be there not because of things they hate, but because of the things they love. They fundamentally understand that the liberty many Americans hold dear is in grave danger. There will be a Fair Tax contingent, a Citizens Against Government Waste faction, and folks chanting "drill here, drill now, pay less." All of the individual issues of concern to Real America come back to a love of individual liberty. The United States does not suffer from a lack of government. It does increasingly suffer from a loss of freedom. The people are finally saying, "we want out lives back." See you at Freedom Plaza on Saturday.

"O'Reilly Factor" Producer Nails Traitorous John Adams Project

The American Criminal Liberties Union has sunk to greater depths than ever. "The O'Reilly Factor" producer Dan Bank cornered one of the sleazy traitors who champion the despicably-named John Adams Project.

First, I'm glad this wicked witch feels threatened. By all rights, she and the other anti-American fools involved in this project should be facing a rope at the hands of the criminal justice system. In fact, rather than investigating brave CIA agents and others who have worked to defend America, Attorney General Eric Holder should be conducting a priority inquiry into the actions of these vile traitors. Too harsh? From Article III of the United States Constitution:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

In my book, showing pictures of CIA agents to terrorists and providing personal information about agents to America's enemies is treason. This garbage must stop. Folks certainly have every right to express opinions contrary to any government policy. However, there is no right to jeopardize the lives and safety of those trying to defend America in order to advance a political agenda.

This act of treason against America is sponsored by the American Criminal Liberties Union--a long-time, anti-American coven of radical lawyers. The ignorant woman caught on tape, Nina Ginsberg, is plainly a wild-eyed Leftist loon. This is apparent as she babbles incoherently about Dick Cheney "exposing" Valerie Plame's cover. This contemptible flake is proud that she is putting the lives of CIA agents and their families in danger.

John Adams was an American patriot. He did provide defense for British soldiers after the Boston Massacre in order to ensure they received a fair trial. John Adams did not, however, give British officials the addresses and descriptions of members of the Sons of Liberty. If these creeps want to work to destroy American security, they should at least adopt a more fitting name. The Benedict Arnold Project would be more appropriate.

Flashback 1991: Democrats Investigate George H.W. Bush For School Speech

Big Media and Leftists Democrats ridiculed those who were upset with the notion of President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama giving a nationwide speech to school children. They called the concerns of Real Americans "irrational" and "ignorant." However, in today's Washington Examiner, Byron York reminds us that Democrats ordered the Government Accounting Office (GAO) to investigate George H.W. Bush's speech to America's youngsters on October 1, 1991.

Unlike the Obama speech, in 1991 most of the controversy came after, not before, the president's school appearance. The day after Bush spoke, the Washington Post published a front-page story suggesting the speech was carefully staged for the president's political benefit. "The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props," the Post reported.

With the Post article in hand, Democrats pounced. "The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students," said Richard Gephardt, then the House Majority Leader. "And the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action.'"

Democrats did not stop with words. Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate the cost and legality of Bush's appearance. On October 17, 1991, Ford summoned then-Education Secretary Lamar Alexander and other top Bush administration officials to testify at a hearing devoted to the speech. "The hearing this morning is to really examine the expenditure of $26,750 of the Department of Education funds to produce and televise an appearance by President Bush at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, DC," Ford began. "As the chairman of the committee charged with the authorization and implementation of education programs, I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event."

Unfortunately for Ford, the General Accounting Office concluded that the Bush administration had not acted improperly. "The speech itself and the use of the department's funds to support it, including the cost of the production contract, appear to be legal," the GAO wrote in a letter to Chairman Ford. "The speech also does not appear to have violated the restrictions on the use of appropriations for publicity and propaganda."

That didn't stop Democratic allies from taking their own shots at Bush. The National Education Association denounced the speech, saying it "cannot endorse a president who spends $26,000 of taxpayers' money on a staged media event at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, D.C. -- while cutting school lunch funds for our neediest youngsters."

Lost in all the denouncing and investigating was the fact that Bush's speech itself, like Obama's today, was entirely unremarkable. "Block out the kids who think it's not cool to be smart," the president told students. "If someone goofs off today, are they cool? Are they still cool years from now, when they're stuck in a dead end job. Don't let peer pressure stand between you and your dreams.

Unlike the pro-Obama materials created by Dear Leader's administration, the Bush Department of Education did not create lesson plans asking children to write a letter about how they could help him achieve his policy goals. - Study Shows Sharp Increase in TV Ads Soliciting Plaintiffs for Medical Malpractice Lawsuits

Leftist Democrats fully reject any proposal to reign in the ambulance chasing predators who drive up medical costs through ridiculous lawsuits. This is more proof that power for government and the Statists' sugar daddies, for instance trial lawyers, is the heart of so-called health care reform. The quality and availability of care is less important than control and political payback. - Study Shows Sharp Increase in TV Ads Soliciting Plaintiffs for Medical Malpractice Lawsuits

Andie Brownlow Warns The Soviet Strategy For American Collapse Is Succeeding

Can the United States of America be destroyed by an enemy that ceased to exist nearly twenty years ago? Andie Brownlow's piece in The American Thinker reminds us that the strategy of Soviet-led worldwide communism was not to dismantle the United States by invasion, but by incremental doses of Marxist-influenced policy. This didn't start with Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama. It didn't start with SDS in the 1960s. This has been going on for a century. These ideas have been fostered by useful idiots in high places since the so-called Progressive Movement.

Brownlow's piece is based on information provided to the west by a former Soviet journalist.

Yuri Bezmenov, aka Tomas Schuman, was a Soviet journalist and propaganda specialist for the KGB in 1965. A few years later, disgusted with what he was being asked to do for the KGB in India, he defected to Canada. He began to publically warn about the tactics of Soviet psychological warfare. No one knows for sure what has become of Mr. Schuman; it's rumored that he is now deceased.

Mr. Schuman explained that although Hollywood glorifies Soviet espionage and James Bond-style activity, in actuality only 10 to15% of the KGB's time was devoted to covert activity. The remaining 85 to 90% was spent on a four-step process called "Ideological Subversion."

The four steps in the process are:
1. Demoralization.
2. Destabilization.
3. Crisis.
4. Normalization.

Brownlow picks up Schuman's explanation of the demoralization process.

Mr. Schuman explains Demoralization as a 10 to 30 year process:

[To] educate a generation to expose them to the ideology of the enemy: Marxism, Leninism...without being challenged by American values.

The goal is six-fold:

1) Destroy the religion of the enemy; mock and discredit it. Promote corrupt alternatives and cults.

2) Insure the disruption of education. Distract from learning constructive and pragmatic subjects and replace them with studies on frivolous topics.

3) Destroy social ties and impede bargaining and conflict resolution. Bring in bureaucracy and dependence on authority.

4) Institute power structuring around unelected bureaucrats and the media.

5) Destroy labor relations by mediating employee /employer interaction. Create friction and oppositional relationships.

6) Warp law, order and morality. Demonize the police and those upholding the law. Make the bad guy look like a victim of society; justify his actions.

Are you getting the picture? Do these goals for demoralizing a stable republic sound like anything you have witnessed in recent decades? It might be time for the Nostradamus detectives to look at something more recent and more dangerous in terms of breaking down America. The social, educational, economic and moral changes of the previous decades have not been accidental. It is no accident that the radical Left is always to connected to these movements.

Even something as legitimate as the civil rights movement was fouled by Marxist influences who were more interested in adding Blacks to their anti-American coalition than in improving the lives and opportunities of Black Americans. The current political scene demonstrates how this works. Just listen to Al Sharpton, Je$$e Jackson and other influential Black leaders compare bans on same-sex marriage to the days of Jim Crow or even to slavery. This attitude is not consistent with most Blacks. Look at Black so-called "leaders" when it comes to school policy. No matter how poorly urban schools perform they support the education bureaucracy, dumbed-down curriculum, fluff courses, and accuse any demand for rigor as being based in "racism." I can't speak for Black Americans, but I would guess if you asked Black parents they would want their child to learn to read, learn to write competently, learn to use numbers effectively, and be given the skills for adult success.

Be sure to read the rest of Andie Brownlow's piece, "From Russia With No Love." Much of the Leftist plan for America has come to pass. We have to understand, and make our friends and neighbors understand, that politics are no longer a series of parlor games between rival fraternities. The thirst for government power we are now witnessing is a fight for America's soul. We have a choice. We either return to being the land of liberty, the world's last best hope, or we become just another footnote in history, a great power that gave in to the failed ideologies of mass dependence and worship of the state.

NOTE: For more details and background to support Andie Brownlow's "From Russia With No Love," check out Brownlow's website for more documentation.

John Shadegg and Pete Hoekstra: How To Insure Every American

The Wall Street Journal published an excellent op-ed by congressmen John Shadegg and Pete Hoekstra that outlines some common sense health care solutions that do not involve government takeovers. These aren't new ideas, though the Liar-in-Chief and his Leftist-Statist myrmidons continue to spread the lie that Conservatives are the party of "no" and do not present alternatives. In truth, Conservatives have pushed for common sense health care reform for many years, but have been fought tooth-and-nail by Democrats. Hoekstra and Shadegg plainly demonstrate that reform does not have to be the enemy of liberty

•Costs and Control. The health-care reform debate centers on how to lower the cost of care, and who should ultimately control health-care decisions. Under the current system, nobody is focused on controlling costs.

Roughly 60% of all health care in America is employer-provided. This third-party payment structure has divorced the consumer—the patient—from the real cost of services. It encourages excess spending, runaway lawsuits, defensive medicine (doctors ordering unnecessary tests and procedures out of fear of being sued), and huge malpractice premiums.

President Obama and Democrats in Congress say that a new federal health-care bureaucracy and a so-called public plan is the answer. They are wrong.

Government has caused the problems we face in health care. Our tax code incentivizes employer-provided health care, rewards health insurance companies
by insulating them from accountability, and punishes those who lack employer-provided care.

Every night on television there are dozens of commercials from Geico, Progressive, Allstate and other companies offering us better auto insurance at lower costs. But there are virtually no commercials for health insurance. This is because the federal government protects health insurance companies from real competition. Insurers don't have to market to consumers. They only have to satisfy employers. In addition, a person living in New York, for example, is currently only permitted to purchase individual insurance in New York. Allowing competition across state lines would drive down cost tremendously.

We believe the solution to this problem is patient choice. What appears to be a free market in health care today is not. The health-care market is a stacked deck that favors insurance companies rather than patients.

We must stop punishing Americans who buy their own plan by forcing them to purchase their care with after-tax dollars, making it at least one-third more expensive than employer-provided care. Individuals should be able to take their
employer's plan, or turn it down and select insurance of their own choosing without any tax penalty.

•Pre-existing Conditions. Americans agree that no one should go bankrupt because of a chronic disease or pre-existing conditions like multiple sclerosis or breast cancer.

In 2006, the Republican Congress and President Bush passed legislation encouraging states to create "high-risk" pools where those with pre-existing conditions could receive coverage at roughly the same rates as healthy Americans. State-based high-risk pools spread the cost of care for those with chronic diseases among all insurers in the market. The additional cost of their care is subsidized by the government.

Unfortunately, some states have not created high-risk pools, and some need to be restructured to ensure timely access to care. Republicans have proposed fixing this problem by expanding and strengthening this safety net, and by creating reinsurance or risk-adjustment pools so that Americans with chronic medical conditions can get the care they need at an affordable cost.

•Uninsured Americans. Most Americans recognize that the quality of health care in the U.S. is excellent. Thousands of foreigners come to America to get care each year; in 2008, some 400,000 people traveled here for treatment. The five-year survival rates for all cancers beat the rates in Canada, Europe and England. The problem is that some in America cannot access this care.

Republicans and Democrats agree that we should cover all Americans. In large part, we already do. Anyone in the country can walk into an emergency room and receive care regardless of his or her ability to pay.

The political disagreement is not whether to cover everyone, but how to do so. The president and congressional Democrats say we should create a new government-run plan, outlaw the health coverage Americans enjoy today, and let federal bureaucrats control the content and price of health plans. Their bill, H.R. 3200, is filled with more than a thousand pages of new mandates, penalties, regulations and taxes. It is nothing short of a complete takeover of the entire health-care system by Washington politicians.

We believe that all Americans deserve the ability to select health-care coverage that meets their needs—not the preferences of politicians. Republicans in Congress want to empower Americans to make their own choices by providing a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for you to purchase the plan of your choice. Those who cannot presently afford coverage would be able to select and purchase their own plan using a health-care voucher provided by the federal government.

If we give citizens the ability to control their own care, cover pre-existing conditions, and provide resources to the uninsured, we will have fixed health care in America. No bureaucrats. No new czars. No mandates. Just choice and coverage for every American.

President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama and congressional Democrats can talk all they want about choice and options for Americans, but they are lying and they know it. The plans floating around the House and Senate are all based on the premise that the federal government has the power and authority to control the health care of every American. The reality is that Americans will have fewer options if they achieve their fascist takeover of health care. They do not care about health care delivery or quality. They care only that government controls the industry.

It is time for Big Media to do their job and present both sides. Real America is already winning. If Big Media decides it wants to resemble a journalistic enterprise instead of a Leftist public relations consortium, nationalized health care will get the burial it deserves.

Tax Cheat Charles Rangel Accuses Free Market Health Care Advocates of Racism

New York congressman Charles Rangel may be the greatest living advertisement for term limits. Earlier this week, the disgraceful ward boss Rangel called for a crackdown on people who underpaid taxes, even if the mistakes were honest and obviously unintentional. This is the same Charles Rangel who is chairman of the overly-powerful House Ways and Means Committee and who "forgot" to report $600,000 of income.

Rangel is under investigation by the House Ethics committee and some Republicans are calling on him to resign his chairmanship. Good luck. Rangel is one of those arrogant limousine liberals who lives the lifestyle of the rich and famous while attacking upper middle class folk who work their tails off creating jobs and opportunities for themselves and others. "Coincidentally," Rangel has contributed money to three of the five Democrats on the House Ethics committee.

Now, the Harlem sleazeball has hit a new low. FOX News reports that, at a health care forum, Rangel accused those who oppose a government takeover of health care of being racists.

"Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is president of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, 'How did this happen?' " Rangel (D-Manhattan) said Tuesday.

Speaking at a health-care forum in Washington Heights, Rangel said that when critics complain that Obama is "trying to interfere" with their lives by pushing for health-care reform, "then you know there's just a misunderstanding, a bias, a prejudice, an emotional feeling."
If only John "Lurch" Kerry had been elected President, Americans would love the idea of government having absolute control over their health from womb to tomb. We want totalitarianism, but we demand to be ruled by a white guy! Death panels, rationing of care, diminishing competition, and unaccountable boards taking over 20% of the American economy are great ideas, but we just want a full-blooded Anglo-Saxon to sign the bill instead of a half-Anglo-Saxon like Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama. Ya got us, Charlie!

This buffoon's act has worn thin. He is a perfect example of what Democrats mean by transparency. Even if everyone knows a Democrats is a crook and a con man it is OK because they are "doing it for the children." Big Media isn't going to make a big deal about Leftist Democrat funny money and double-dealing. They will not eat their own.

If you see Charlie Rangel, give him this message: those of us who oppose nationalized health care love liberty and hate fascism. We don't particularly give a damn about the melanin content in one's skin. But, we do get a little testy about self-righteous windbags who believe they have the power to control our lives. Don't worry, it isn't about you and Barry's race. We find Nancy , Steny, Harry, and the rest of the Democrat Politburo every bit as distasteful.

The Federal Government Could Wreck A One Car Parade

Most of the programs that the federal government runs (or attempts to run) are unconstitutional in the first place. There is no justification for their meddling in affairs that should be handled by individuals, states, and/or the free market system. Of course, the constitutional argument doesn't work with Leftists because they generally reject every ideal that this nation was founded upon.

However, United Conservatives of Virginia presents the obvious reason to keep government from further intruding in the health care and energy industries (as well as anything else): incompetence. Read Concrete Bob's list of government failures here.

New Hampshire Repeals Freedom of Religion and Parental Rights

This story out of New Hampshire is horrifying. A 10 year-old girl who excels in a home-schooling program, and whose social skills have been commended by teachers at the local public school where she takes some elective classes, has been sentenced to a public school by a rogue judge. Although, the child is excelling in her academic progress, it was decided that she needed the public school influence to rid her of some undesirable behaviors.

The situation was then analyzed by the court-appointed guardian, who made a recommendation to the court. During the evaluation process it was determined that Amanda was excelling in her schooling and used curriculum that was approved by her school district. The curriculum used in her home schooling was created by certified teachers, and Amanda routinely took standardized tests.

Furthermore, Amanda attended her local public school to take art, Spanish, and P.E. classes. Her public school instructors also commented on the fact that Amanda was well-rounded in her social skills. But a sticking point arose concerning Voydatch's Christian faith.

The court order stated: "According to the guardian ad litem's further report and testimony, the counselor found Amanda to lack some youthful characteristics. She appeared to reflect her mother's rigidity on questions of faith." The guardian noted that during a counseling session, Amanda tried to witness to the counselor and appeared "visibly upset" when the counselor purposefully did not pay attention.

The guardian also noted that Amanda's relationship with her father suffered because she did not think he loved her as much as he said he did due to the fact that he refused to "adopt her religious beliefs."

According to the court order, the guardian concluded that Amanda's "interests, and particularly her intellectual and emotional development, would be best served by exposure to a public school setting in which she would be challenged to solve problems presented by a group learning situation and...Amanda would be best served by exposure to different points of view at a time in her life when she must begin to critically evaluate multiple systems of belief and behavior."

That's right, a government bureaucrat determined that Amanda was "too Christian" and really needed exposure to more non-Christian stimuli. Hopefully, her mother will fight this heinous decision. Whether federal, state, or local, it is none of any arrogant bureaucrat's business how strongly a young person holds their religious views. American citizens need to reclaim their individual sovereignty when they face such government abuses. They work for us, not vice versa.

Cruel and Unusual "Health Care": Today England; Tomorrow America

The British health service bureaucracy is doing its part to manage health care costs in the United Kingdom. If they are likely going to die, don't waste care on them. The Daily Telegraph details the widespread dissatisfaction with the cruel program.

In a letter to The Daily Telegraph, a group of experts who care for the terminally ill claim that some patients are being wrongly judged as close to death.

Under NHS guidance introduced across England to help doctors and medical staff deal with dying patients, they can then have fluid and drugs withdrawn and many are put on continuous sedation until they pass away.

But this approach can also mask the signs that their condition is improving, the experts warn.

As a result the scheme is causing a “national crisis” in patient care, the letter states. It has been signed palliative care experts including Professor Peter Millard, Emeritus Professor of Geriatrics, University of London, Dr Peter Hargreaves, a consultant in Palliative Medicine at St Luke’s cancer centre in Guildford, and four others.

“Forecasting death is an inexact science,”they say. Patients are being diagnosed as being close to death “without regard to the fact that the diagnosis could be wrong.

“As a result a national wave of discontent is building up, as family and friends witness the denial of fluids and food to patients."

The warning comes just a week after a report by the Patients Association estimated that up to one million patients had received poor or cruel care on the NHS.

The rest of the article can be read here. Just a little advance preview of the health care plan President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama and his fellow travelers have in store for America. Sounds great, doesn't it?

Washington Post Tries To Save Creigh Deeds

Does The Washington Post (Compost?) plan to duplicate its 2006 feat when it took one word uttered by Virginia Senator George Allen and ran story after story until he lost to pathetic Democrat candidate Jim Webb? SWAC Girl has put together an excellent post which shows how Democrats are trying to use an old college paper to smear Republican Bob McDonnell. Big Media realizes the only hope for hapless Democrat candidate Creigh Deeds is to damage McDonnell with personal attacks. This, of course, is the Left's strength, so it bears monitoring.

It is interesting that McDonnell's blunt language in a pro-family position paper is so offensive to the Big Media when we just elected a President who:
  • Spent 20 years in the church of a racist, anti-semite pastor who the President called his spiritual mentor.
  • Told multiple, contradictory versions of his relationship with the minister before finally rejecting him after Hillary Clinton gained on him in the primaries.
  • Had a close working relationship and friendship with Weather Underground domestic terroristic Bill Ayers.
  • Told multiple, contradictory versions of his relationship with the unrepentent terrorist before finally claiming he was just a guy he happened to serve with on a board.
  • Had a long connection to far left socialist and communist friends and colleagues.
  • Wrote a racially charged biography before writing a tamer biography shortly before running for President.
  • Made his most passionate speech as a state legislator against a law that protected the lives of babies who survived attempted abortions.

Interestingly, we were instructed to disregard everything we knew about Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama during Campaign 2008. If we allowed his questionable past to impact our evaluation of him, then we were racist neanderthals. Aren't you glad Big Media is objective?

Heritage Foundation: Obama's Team Crosses The Rhetorical Line

Disgusting. That is the only word for the press release that President Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama's Brownshirt organization, Organizing For America, posted yesterday. The Heritage Foundation posted a screen shot of the release that was later taken down. The problem is not necessarily Obama's perpetual campaign, but the tactics and rhetoric used by his minions.

Today, President Obama’s campaign organization “Organizing for America” sent out a notice to its “grassroots” supporters. It asked them to wage a coordinated phone campaign for health care by calling their U.S. Senators on September 11 – also known as Patriot Day in honor of the thousands of Americans killed by Al Qaeda terrorists eight years ago. It goes on: “All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American
Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.” Please read that again.

This is beyond disgraceful. This is the President's organizing body, so he must take full responsibility. These sleazy Socialists are comparing Americans who believe in individual liberty and who exercise their freedoms to influence their elected officials to the terrorists who killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11. Nice job, Leftist Democrats.

Most people now see through the phony bipartisanship Obama bleated about during his campaign. "Bipartisanship" was a poll-tested term that sounded good to folks. However, it is a concept that runs counter to the Chicago Way and Obama's "ends justify the means" style of politics. Obama didn't write the vile statement on the Organizing For America web site, but the words definitely reflected his methods and ideology. Apologies should be forthcoming--especially if Big Media ever covers the story. Don't hold your breath on that one.

Patriot Post Humor: Blame It On Hussein (Barry Vladimir Hussein Soetero Obama, That Is)

The folks at the Patriot Post outdid themselves with their latest dose of political humor.
